Aimee, Ozzy and Sharon’s oldest daughter, and Louis, their seldom seen son, were also there. As the family waved to the followers who had arrived to pay tribute to the rock and roll legend, Aimee was seen crying.
One fan described the emotional scene, writing, “You can see how much they are hurting. The oldest daughter, Aimee, her whole body visibly shaking. So sad for them. Those first days of a big loss you are just in shock and everything is really just a blur. [sic]”
Ozzy was married to Thelma Riley from 1971 to 1982 before he married Sharon. They quickly started dating after meeting on a night out in Birmingham. In 1971, they were married in a registrar office after renting a flat together.
Behind barricades, a large number of Birmingham locals and supporters could be seen standing and applauding. “Ozzy!” was even being chanted by some. There were security guards as well, and a brass band from the area played a pretty upbeat song.
